BX-0001 is a baseball shoe in our range, stocked in the colourway shown on this page and EU sizes 39–46. It is built for batting practice and game days on natural or synthetic turf.

Built for

Baseball and softball are played in short explosive bursts over dirt and grass, with a lot of lateral cutting. The shoe has to grip when you plant and turn, and stay comfortable through a double-header. BX-0001 is built for infield, outfield and batting practice.

Key features

  • Lateral grip on dirt. A studded or heavily patterned outsole that bites when you cut, so your foot does not slide out from under you rounding a base.
  • Toe drag protection. A reinforced toe cap where pitchers and hitters drag the foot through the motion.
  • Support through nine innings. A padded collar and cushioned footbed that hold up over a long day rather than just a warm-up.

Materials & construction

Synthetic upper with a reinforced toe and heel counter, on a moulded rubber outsole with a traction pattern suited to dirt and turf. Cushioned midsole and a padded tongue to spread pressure across the top of the foot.

Sizing

Baseball cleats are worn with game socks, which are thicker than everyday socks — try them on with those. Most players take their normal EU size; if you are between sizes, go up half. Your heel should be locked with no lift when you push off.

Care

Knock the dirt out of the outsole after every game — packed clay hardens and kills traction. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and dry at room temperature. Do not leave them in a kit bag wet; mildew in the lining is permanent.
