VS-11 is a boxing shoe in our range, stocked in the colourway shown on this page and EU sizes 38–47. It suits beginners who need a flat, pivoting sole to learn footwork properly.
Built for
Boxing is played on the balls of your feet with constant pivoting. The wrong shoe — anything with a cushioned running sole — grabs the floor and twists the knee instead of letting it turn. VS-11 is built for the ring, the bag and the mat: thin, flat, and free to rotate.
Key features
- Pivot, not grip. A thin, flat outsole with a smooth pivot point under the ball of the foot lets you turn without the shoe catching and loading your knee.
- Ankle support without bulk. A mid-cut collar braces the ankle for lateral movement while staying light enough to feel the floor.
- Close, locked fit. Lacing runs low over the instep so the foot cannot slide forward when you push off a punch.
Materials & construction
Breathable synthetic and mesh upper with a reinforced toe, on a thin rubber outsole with minimal cushioning by design. A padded collar and tongue protect the ankle and instep without adding weight.
Sizing
Boxing shoes should fit snug — roughly half a size down from your running shoes — because a loose shoe rolls on the ankle during pivots. There should be a finger's width at the toe and no heel lift. Wear the wraps or socks you actually train in when you try them.
Care
Air them out after every session; gym shoes trap sweat and the lining is the first thing to fail. Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth to keep the pivot surface clean — dust and rosin reduce the release you need. Never put them in a washing machine.
