PY-0021 is a climbing shoe in our range, stocked in the colourway shown on this page and EU sizes 36–44. It suits gym sessions and short outdoor routes where precision matters more than comfort.

Built for

Climbing shoes are the one category where a tight fit is the point. The shoe has to transmit pressure from your toe to a hold the width of a coin, which means minimal cushioning, a stiff and precise front edge, and a heel that stays locked when you pull. PY-0021 is built for gym sessions and outdoor rock alike.

Key features

  • Precise toe edge. A firm front platform lets you stand on small edges without the shoe rolling over, which is what saves your calves on vertical terrain.
  • Locked heel. A snug, tensioned heel cup keeps the foot from sliding back on heel hooks and when you weight the toe.
  • Sensitivity where it counts. Thin under the forefoot so you can feel the hold, with a stiffer midfoot for support on longer routes.

Materials & construction

Synthetic upper with a lined tongue and a tensioned heel, on a rubber outsole with a full-length rand wrapping the toe. The closure is a simple strap or lace system so the fit stays adjustable as the shoe breaks in.

Sizing

Climbing shoes are meant to fit tighter than street shoes — most climbers go down half to one full EU size from their everyday size. Your toes should be flat or slightly curled, never crushed. If you are new to the sport or plan long multi-pitch days, size closer to your street size for comfort.

Care

Air them out after every session and never leave them sealed in a bag — trapped moisture breaks down the lining. Brush the rubber with a damp cloth to restore friction. Keep them away from heat and direct sun, which hardens the rubber.
