G-009 is a golf shoe from our range, stocked in the colourway shown on this page and EU sizes 36–47. It is aimed at golfers who play weekly and want a stable platform through the swing.
Built for
Eighteen holes is a long walk across closely mown grass that you are also expected not to damage. A golf shoe has to do two jobs at once: hold the foot steady through the swing, and release cleanly from the turf on the through-swing. G-009 is built around that balance rather than around the clubhouse.
Key features
- Stable through the swing. The midfoot is reinforced so the foot stays over the platform when you shift weight, which is where most slipping starts on a sloping lie.
- Grip that releases. The outsole pattern is arranged to bite on the downswing and let go on the follow-through, so you get traction without tearing up the fairway.
- Comfortable between shots. Cushioned underfoot with a padded collar and tongue, because the walking is half the round.
Materials & construction
Synthetic upper with mesh panels for airflow, bonded and stitched to a moulded rubber outsole. A cushioned EVA midsole sits between foot and ground, and the insole is removable if you wear your own orthotics.
Sizing
Runs true to standard EU sizing. Golf shoes are worn with a thicker sock than everyday shoes, so if you sit between two sizes go up half a size. You want roughly a thumb's width at the toe and no heel lift when you walk.
Care
Brush off soil while the shoe is dry, then wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry at room temperature, stuffed with newspaper. Never machine wash, never tumble dry — heat breaks down the adhesives and the midsole foam.
